Tech and Digitalization Advisor, Munich

Are you motivated by building partnerships within tech, and do you want to facilitate digital solutions that can address the unmet needs for companies and citizens? The Consulate General of Denmark in Munich is looking for an advisor to our tech team.
We believe the digital transition is essential for Danish, German and European competitiveness and a modern delivery of services from the public sector to companies and citizens.
We advise Danish companies and German stakeholders on digital solutions. We offer consultancy services within govtech, fintech, and edtech. We also work with cybertech with a pivot into the broader area of defencetech. Priority areas may change over time.
Our new tech advisor will join our tech team with members in Munich, Berlin, The Hague and Brussels. You will be reporting to the team lead in Munich. We measure success through shared regional KPIs.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for partnerships between Danish companies and German stakeholders within tech and digitalization.
- Develop and execute German market entry and market intelligence projects.
- Organize and execute events, workshops, and delegation visits to and from Denmark.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders in Germany with the purpose of expanding our network and strengthen Danish-German collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- 2-4 years of work experience in business development, consulting and/or project management in digitalization.
- Strategic, commercial and innovative mind-set.
- An ability to work independently as well as in teams.
- Self-driven, good interpersonal skills and a result-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English and conversational skills in German. Knowledge of a Nordic language (written and spoken) is an advantage.
- Good understanding of technology trends is an advantage.
Employment conditions:
- A two-year contract with the possibility of extension.
- Standard working hours are 37 hours per week including a 30-minute lunch break.
- You will be entitled to 25 days of paid vacation per year.
- Your salary, before tax and social security contribution, falls within the range of €50,000 to €60,000 per year (€45,000 to €55,000, if you are exempted from paying tax in Germany), depending on your qualifications and relevant experience.
- Travel within Germany and to Denmark is to be expected.
- The employment is subject to a security check by the Danish authorities.
Expected start of work:
1 August 2025.
