Contract Type: Local contract based on the Staff Rules of the Mission (initially for 2 years, with the possibility of extension)

About the Role
The position will emphasize on monitoring, analyzing and reporting relevant development within German climate and energy policy. Furthermore, the position will aim to apply energy policy insights in the advisory of Danish companies with public affairs interests in the German Market. The role will be divided between the political department and the Trade Council.
The position is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of policy reporting, public affairs and export promotion - contributing to Denmark's leadership in sustainable energy solutions.
You will play a key role in creating value for Danish companies by supporting their public affairs activities in Germany. This involves strategic advisory, fostering partnerships, and sharing knowledge across key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth monitoring and reporting of climate and energy policy in Germany.
- Serve as an intermediary between Danish companies and German political and commercial stakeholders.
- Support Danish companies through value-driven export activities such as stakeholder meetings and delegation trips.
- Coordinate event planning, including logistics and travel arrangements.
- Develop a communication platform and strategy to increase visibility in Denmark and Germany.
Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate with:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the energy sector.
- Fluency in Danish and German is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and Denmark.
