About the Role
The Royal Danish Consulate General in Hamburg is seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Advisor to join our Trade team, focusing on energy with particular emphasis on wind energy. As Commercial Advisor you will play a key role in supporting Danish companies in their export efforts and facilitating cooperation between Danish and German stakeholders in the energy sector. This involves strategic advisory, fostering partnerships, and sharing knowledge across key stakeholders.
You will act as a link and intercultural mediator between the German market and the Danish companies. Your day-to-day work will also include supporting the strategic development of our wind energy team.
Being embedded in the NWEU region means that our and your activities will extend beyond Germany to include the Netherlands and Belgium in particular.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of export promotion, public affairs, and energy sector innovation, contributing to the sustainable energy transition and Denmark's leadership in sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Advise Danish wind energy companies in the German market (strategic analyses, business development and sales support).
• Organization of stakeholder meetings, technical workshops, conferences, and delegation trips.
• Support communication with stakeholders in both Denmark and Germany.
• Maintain up-to-date records of clients, stakeholders, and activities in CRM systems.
• Prepare meeting notes, reports, and presentations.
• Support the execution of the communication strategy for the Wind Energy Team and its clients.
• Assist in creating content for newsletters, reports, and marketing materials.
• Follow the industry developments closely to support the team activities and our clients.

Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate with:
• Relevant studies and / or professional experience in the commercial or technical field of wind energy.
• Initial experience in the wind industry (planning, operation, sales, purchasing, strategy development, etc.).
• Sound knowledge of the wind energy market in Germany and a strong network in the German and / or Danish wind industry are desirable.
• Familiarity with the renewable energy sector, especially with Wind Energy.
• Fluency in German and English is essential.
• Proficiency in Danish or another Scandinavian language is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive, independent, structured and collaborative work style.
• Willingness to support occasional business travel and event participation.
