International Business Advisor - TECH (Munich)
Invest in Denmark is looking for an ambitious and results-driven tech savvy person to strengthen our investment promotion activities in the DACH Region.
Invest in Denmark has a strategic focus on Tech with a special attention to quantum technology, AI, Robotics and Dual-use technologies.
You will be based at the Consulate General of Denmark in Munich and eport directly to the Regional Director of Europe who is based in Copenhagen. As a member of our European team of 8 experienced business advisors (three of them are placed in Munich), you will be part of our global organization of 60 colleagues working with investment promotion within strategic sectors of Cleantech, Tech and Life Science/Food. You will collaborate closely with team members at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Denmark. As well as colleagues from the Danish embassy in Berlin and Innovation Centre Denmark in Munich.

Areas of responsibility
Your role as Business Advisor is to identify, contact and build a network
in large companies, primarily companies within Tech. Your mission is to convince German, Austrian and Swiss companies to select Denmark as their location for future activities. To assist you in reaching your specific goals in terms of investment projects brought to Denmark, you will collaborate with colleagues in the European team and receive comprehensive support from the organization in Denmark.
Your profile
- An MSc or MA in business, economics, or relevant STEM or SSH
- 3+ years of working experience in the Tech or similar knowledge-intensive sectors, including documented international sales, consulting or business development experience.
- Thorough understanding of company strategies, innovation trends and technologies.
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken. Danish or one of the other Scandinavian languages is an advantage.
- A broad professional network at an appropriate level.

Employment Conditions
- You will be offered full time employment will be employed as a local employee at the Consulate General in Munich.
- The standard work week at the Consulate General is 37 hours. You will have a large degree of flexibility in organizing your own daily working hours.
- You will be entitled to 5 weeks (25 working days) of paid holiday per year plus 10-12 public holidays (depending on the calendar year).
- Your salary will reflect your qualifications, relevant experience and proven workrelated results.
