Jakob Andersen took the positon as Consul General and Trade Commissioner of Denmark at the Consulate General of Denmark in Hamburg in Mai 2019. Jakob has the overall responsibility for the DACH Energy and Environment Team and with more than 20 years of management consulting experience within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ofDenmark, his area of expertise is extensive. Having facilitated export counselling in five different geographical markets, he has a deep understanding of the client’s needs for market specific solutions and assists companies within abroad scope of tasks. Jakob’s emphasis is on establishing deep and long-term relationships with his clients.

J. Markus Adrian is a Commercial Advisor at the Consulate General of Denmark in Hamburg. Markus is dedicated to support the Danish Wind industry in the DACH region based on his long experience within the German wind sector. He focuses especially on supporting Danish companies within after-sales market development, O&M, service and retrofits. Prior to joining the team in Hamburg, his work experience ranged from market research, to support in strategy, sales and business development. In addition to that, he has a PhD in economic geography on modularization in the windturbine industry. He combines vast experience and technological understanding with a deep knowledge of the German wind market.

Erik Tüxen has studied Power Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Clausthal, Germany, and graduated as Dipl.-Ing. Erik has been working in the Wind Industry for more than 15 years. Erik joined the Wind Energy Advisory at the General Consulate in Hamburg in August 2019. Erik has extensive technical and commercial experience within renewable energy, especially on aspects which are crucial for the wind business, such as the testing of power performance and electrical characteristics. Erik will bring forward both knowledge and network in order to increase the Danish potential exports.

Emilie joined the Wind Energy Advisory as Commercial Assistant in August 2020. She contributes to the team with her knowledge of international business and strong analytical skills, which she gained from her bachelor degree in International Business from Fontys University in the Netherlands. She moreover has previous experience in supply chain management. In the Wind Energy Advisory, Emilie especially focuses on extensive market research and on further developing and maintaining the network with relevant stakeholders to support Danish wind energy companies in the DACH region.

Jan Petersen comes from a technical background as Utility Manager at Arla Foods Dairy facility in Krusaa. Since 1993, Jan has been working within dairy production at Arla Foods in Krusaa and for the past 15 years, Jan has been Chief Operator of wastewater purification and the heating and cooling facilities. Jan joined the General Consulate in Hamburg to be a part of the Water Technology Alliance and Sustainable Industries Advisory. Jan is a technical specialist in wastewater, energy efficiency and project management. Other than technical capabilities, Jan speaks fluent German.

This combined with experience from TC-Hamburg, has given her a good insight into and great knowledge, of how the trading culture in Germany is moving within various industries, which outlets may be, as well as a technical understanding of different products and solutions. Victoria is part of the wastewater alliance and is coordinating the activities within this sales platform.

Tara has experience working with district heating, renewable gas, and green energy transition both in Denmark, and in Germany. At the district energy advisory, she establishes partnerships between Danish and German district heating stakeholders and technologies.

Christian is a sector expert for district heating and energy efficiency. He has great experience in project management.
He has been working with funding and financing green projects. Christian´s task is to strengthen the energy governance partnership between Germany and Denmark and lead the project development within the partnership.
He is motivated by making a deference in the green transition towards a CO2 neutral energy system.

Willy is an Energy Advisor at the Danish Embassy since 2021. His core task is to promote the energy governance partnership between Germany and Denmark. Concretely, this involves facilitating an exchange of experience, knowledge, and best practices around district heating and energy efficiency. Prior to this position Willy worked as a consultant to the OECD and International Affairs at the Hertie School in Berlin with a special focus on energy and climate policy.

Jan Larsen has been working as a Sector Expert at the Consulate General of Denmark in Hamburg since 2015, after four years of experience at the Embassy in Berlin. Jan has a technical education and 13 years of technical experience as well as 22 years of sales and management experience. Jan is Project Manager on the Sustainable Industries Advisory that works with energy efficiency in the industrial sector. Besides SIA Jan also advises and collaborate with single companies. During his career, Jan has gained great understanding of trade between Denmark and Germany, and is using his export experience in his daily work.

In Thorleif's daily work he is using his commercial understanding from his education as a business lawyer as a foundation.
