Can you help the Danish TECH-industry develop & expand in Germany?

Innovation Centre Denmark, Munich, is looking for a TECH Innovation Consultant. The successful applicant will join a team of experienced colleagues working with the areas of Cleantech, ICT and Life Sciences.

This challenging and fulfilling job in an international environment offers plenty of opportunity for personal development. You will be part of a team responsible for developing Danish-German TECH partnerships within research, development, innovation and new technology.


Reporting directly to the Executive Director for the Innovation Center in Munich, your role as innovation consultant is to identify commercial opportunities for science, technology and innovation collaboration and to develop and carry out programs and activities to stimulate and identify potential business and R&D partnership opportunities.

You may also be expected to lead and execute tech-scouting assignments across industries, to identify the most active innovators – within both research and commerce - in Germany, to answer the following questions: Who are they? Where are they? What are they doing? How good are they?

The job requires that you have a high level of initiative and creativity, and that you are able to inspire your surroundings with your great ideas in order to implement your ideas successfully. It is also required that you have a sales and consultancy experience. There is a substantial income target related to the position. We work closely together in teams and share ideas, experiences and suggestions in an open and informal environment. You will have high performing colleagues to support you.


  • Minimum a master degree
  • Good business understanding with sales or consultancy experience from an international company
  • In depth knowledge about TECH, and a strong personal network within the industry and special attention to new technology development
  • A thorough understanding of the German innovation system and strong networks among the German research society is required
  • Documented project management experience is an advantage
  • IT user skills including Microsoft Office as a minimum
  • Fluency in English, German and (preferably) Danish (written and spoken) is a must
  • Self-driven, good interpersonal skills, a result-oriented approach, and a high drive to succeed with your own and the team’s projects.

Salary according to qualifications and experience and subject to conditions of employment for locally employed personnel at the Innovation Center Denmark.
